As a follow-up of the Padova Dialogues 2004, and with the support of the PASCAL Network, we are happy to announce the PASCAL Dialogues 2006:
A group of related scientific events around the notion of LEARNING, to take place in Catalonia under the organization of the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, October 2nd to 10th, 2006.
Satellite events: European Workshop on Curricular Issues in Learning Theory; Coordination workshop of the Trangram and Moises-2 National Projects.
Learning'06 is intended to provide a forum for interdisciplinary study and discussion of the different aspects of learning, and will take place october 2-5 in the campus of Vilanova i La Geltrú
ALT 2006 is the 17th edition of the Algorithmic Learning Theory Conference on the theoretical foundations of machine learning, and will take place october 7-10 in the Institute of Catalan Studies in Barcelona
DS 2006 is the 9th edition of the International Conference on Discovery Science, and focuses on the development and analysis of methods for intelligent data analysis, knowledge discovery and machine learning, as well as their application to scientific knowledge discovery; as is already tradition, it will be held in parallel with Algorithmic Learning Theory.
The European Workshop on Curricular Issues in Learning Theory is the first regular meeting of the Curriculum Development Programme of the PASCAL Network, to which all interested attendees are invited to register; it will take place october 11th.
The coordination meeting of Trangram and Moises-2 is only open to participants in these projects plus invited participants.
